Memorial Day

Well here we are .. another Memorial Day has come & gone. I hope it was a great weekend for all of you! :) It was pretty good over here in the Miller house .. 


We hit up the pool saturday and whew, did we need it. It was quite the hot day here .. but, nothing better for a long weekend! Summer is officially hereeeee :)) Sunday, we went to the beach & it was fabulous! Nothing like a hotttt day & a cool lake to make the day :) Plus, i got a new NEON  colored swimsuit so of courseee i just had to show it off! :) & if i must say myself, its gorgeous!!!

Of course, then monday we went to the cemetery to see my daddy ... We didnt make it up to the Aresenal, but Jeremys grandparents are there! We just have a family of Veterans who have passed & we have much love for them!

Update

So i realized i havent blogged in awhile! 


Nothing new is really going on in my life, still crazy like always! Its summertime and all im worried about is working on my tan! This momma is wayyyy to pasty white :( 


Well, last weekend Ty & I spend the day at the park & then we busted out the sidewalk chalk!! :) Im still a kid at heart, someeetimes :))

Last night I attended the first baseball game of the season & i must say, while looking around at the stands, i was the hottest momma there ;) It sounds conceited but hey, im going to enjoy it while I still can! :) 

I sure do LOVE my neon clothes .. not only are they bright & adorable .. they sure make you look darker too! :) win win situation!! 


Well, im sitting here at work & about to take off for the day! Hope you all have a great Memorial weekend!! We are hitting the water this weekend .. bring on the rayssss!

Trash the Dress

I found some pictures on my computer here at work & thought id post them here too :)


you may not know, but i have been previously married also, so when a photographer friend of mine was wanting to do a "trash the dress shoot" .. i jumped all over it! what else am i to do with that old wedding dress in my basement!? ;))


we went out to a park around here and started taking some of just me outside .. then she busted out the paint .. have a look for yourself! :)


*note .. it was FREEZING out still & that water almost gave me frost bite, i swear, lol :)

Hawkeye Baseball

So, over the weekend i took my son to his first Iowa Hawkeye baseball game! :) If you know anything about me you know, i LOVE my hawkeyes! :)) So naturally, my son does too :) Actually i got this shirt that pretty much explains it all ...

Anyways, he had a blast and i will for sure be going back next season! :) It was only 6$ for me, my hubby & my son to go! what a great, cheap way to spend a saturday afternoon :)
Well, they lost the first game, but won the second! :)
